Getting to the apartment

Easy as pie! Takes 20 minutes maximum from the airport on the A7 motorway heading south towards Cartegena. Then read the instructions we will send you after booking, it is pretty straight forward – we have photos of the motorway signs to help you.

around 1.5 hours door to door, but taking the same motorway down.

The instructions pick up from
Car hire
Lots around, but from experience, it is better to pick your car up from the airport car hires. Gold car is our favourite, simple to book and use. Centauro we have also used and equally as good – both you can book online at home and not pay a cent until you get there. We recommend you add the tyre and screen insurance when offered to you – you will talk to an English speaking person should you get a flat tyre or broken screen!
You also pay for a full tank of fuel when you hire your car.
As an example of cost to hire a car (depending of course how big you want it and how much the fuel is at the time!) an average Ford Focus for one week with fuel and tyre/screen insurance comes to around 170 euros.
You have the usual Europcar, Avis and Hertz car hire but we have no experience of these in Spain, but easy to look up on the web. The choice is yours.
